Yearbook Staff Wins First Class Award for 2024 Cupola
The 2024 Cupola yearbook won a First Class Award from the National Scholastic Press Association. The NSPA promotes the standards and ethics of good journalism as accepted and practiced by print, broadcast, and digital media in the United States.
The Cupola, released with the theme “Defining Moments,” had high scores in all of the areas of distinction for a school yearbook – development, coverage, writing, editing, photography, and design.
The Editors-in-Chief in 2023-24 were Ava Blumberg ’24, Kira Patel ’24, and Rebecca Wargo ’24; a total of 26 students served on the yearbook staff. Upper School Art Teacher Fran Bennett and Lower School Computer Teacher Lisa Martin ’84 co-advised. Many of the staff members from last year’s yearbook are still students and are now working on production of the 2024-25 edition.
