Third Grade Students Host “North American Environment and Adaptations Museum”
Kenya Barber and Rachel Mainwaring’s third grade classes recently hosted an in-classroom museum for the Lower School community to showcase their research project creations. The classes titled the museum exhibit “The North American Environment and Adaptations Museum.” After a study on Indigenous Peoples, the exhibit featured dwellings, maps, and writing to educate visitors about the environmental conditions and human adaptations found in various North American regions. Students and faculty members from the other Lower School grades visited the museum and heard from third graders about the dwelling they studied and recreated.
