The MFS Girls’ Fencing sabre squad of Rachel Liu ’20, Carie Feigeles ’18, and Chloe Chen ’18 won the NJSIAA District 2 girls’ sabre squad championship at the championships held on January 28 at North Hunterdon High School.
The squad now advances to the NJSIAA State Fencing Squad Championships on February 25 at North Hunterdon where top finishers from the five NJSIAA districts compete for state titles.
In addition, Rachel Liu captured third place in the District 2 individual sabre championships. She qualifies to compete in the NJSIAA individual sabre championships on March 4 at Livingston High School.
