Ryan Flynn ’06 was one of 12 graduate students who was chosen to receive the 2016 Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award sponsored by the Basic Sciences Division of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Nominations were solicited internationally, and the winners were selected on the basis of the quality, originality, and significance of their work. Ryan is a Ph.D. candidate studying dermatology and cancer biology at Stanford University and presented his work on May 6 during a scientific symposium at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. He earned a B.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.D. from Stanford University.
