Northwestern Student Andrew Rowan ’19 Captures Four Chicago/Midwest College Emmys

Congratulations to Andrew Rowan ’19 who recently was awarded four Chicago/Midwest College Emmy Awards as part of his work with the Northwestern News Network (NNN).

Andrew was a member of the NNN news team awarded the College Emmy for Best Newscast. In addition, he received three individual awards:

• Overall Talent College Emmy
• Short Form Non-Fiction College Emmy for “I Don’t Believe That – Climate Change Threatens Wisconsin Sturgeon Spearing Tradition.”
• General Assignment – Light News College Emmy for “No Progress and No Funding: 5 Years Since Northwestern Announced Student Center Plan”

Andrew, a Cherry Hill resident, was named the New Jersey High School Journalist of the Year in 2019 by the Garden State Scholastic Press Association.
