Peer Leaders Host Grade 9 Fun Day
Students enjoyed team building, bonding activities, and much more during the annual Grade 9 Fun Day on Wednesday, led by senior Peer Leaders. It serves as a kickoff for the year-long Peer Leadership course. The small group of selected seniors chosen as Peer Leaders facilitates this year-long program to orient ninth grade students to Upper School. Seniors lead discussions pertaining to academic and social skills and mentor students throughout the year.
“Fun Day is a great kickoff to the Peer Leadership program,” said Upper School Director Noah Rachlin. “Peer Leaders participate in a weekend training program at the beginning of the year and they are always excited for Fun Day to get to know the ninth grade students…and we had a beautiful day this year!”
