Hailing most recently from Ecuador, Clare MacKenzie worked for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer, training native English teachers how to improve their practice. Clare arrives at MFS with a range of experience. She has taught high school English at Emma Willard School for seven years and at Sandy Spring (MD) Friends School for four years. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Haverford College, and she earned a master’s degree in English Literature at the Breadloaf School of English, which is part of Middlebury College.
