Alisa is not new to the MFS community, as she is an alumni and Original, attending the school from Kindergarten through Senior Year. She graduated as a member of the Class of 2011. In the spring of 2016, she returned to MFS to help costume the various theatrical productions, and, more recently, producing the shows. She returns this year to teach photography and yearbook. In 2015, Alisa graduated with a bachelor of fine arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
“I really enjoy opening kids’ minds to different ways to think about and create art,” said Alisa. She added that she had some really influential teachers and hope she can have a similar positive influence on her students.
In her free time, Alisa enjoys making jewelry and ceramics.
