Third Grade Students Present Indigenous Peoples Research Projects to Family and Friends
Third grade students in Rachel Mainwaring and Kenya Barber’s classes recently completed research projects from their Indigenous Peoples unit on Native American life and survival. Using everyday arts and crafts materials, small groups of students designed models of Native American homes, and provided maps, writing, and other visuals from different geographic regions to teach others about the environmental conditions and human adaptations in their region of North America. Each group presented their oral presentations to family members on March 26.
