Model UN Concludes Season with Best School Delegation Win and Multiple Student Accolades

The Upper School Model UN group wrapped their busy conference season at the Philadelphia Model United Nations (PhilMUN) Conference last weekend. MFS was awarded Best School Delegation, and several students walked away with accolades.
“The weekend was a clear reminder of how our MFS delegation approaches Model UN with a sense of team with support, encouragement, and often redirection,” said Model UN Advisor and Upper School History Teacher Clark Thomson. “At the end of the final ‘real’ committee session on Saturday night, our entire delegation felt certain that each had done their best work, despite the ebbs and flows, valleys and peaks of a conference.”
