Upper School Club Organizes Community Service Program on MLK, Jr. Day

Nearly 100 members of the MFS community gathered in the spirit of service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, January 16, to make snack bags and encouraging cards for the families served by the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. Hosted by the Upper School MLK Club, the program featured a welcome by club officers, a Meeting for Worship, and the assembling of 380 bags filled with donations and cards with the help of families from all three divisions and a number of faculty/staff members. Cassie Dominguez ’23, MLK Club President, along with Sonia Guzman ’02, Director of Annual Giving and Club Adviser, dropped off the donation to RMHSNJ to be used at nine area hospitals and the house, located in Camden.
