Middle School Spirit Week Brings Fun, Friendly Competition Home
This week, Middle School students participated in a variety of virtual Spirit Week activities. These events – spread across five days – encouraged friendly competition and provided an opportunity for students to connect from a distance. Each day also featured the option to dress in a fun and creative way.
The schedule for the week included the following:
Monday, 5/4
Event: MFS Trivia via Kahoot! – Students played an interactive quiz on their devices via Kahoot!, a game-based learning platform that asks multiple choice questions in real time.
Dress: Twin Day
Tuesday, 5/5
Event: Minute to Win It Contest – Participants selected one (or all!) of a series of challenges designed to be completed in a minute or less using household materials.

Wednesday, 5/6
Event: Wake Up! MFS Talent Show – Students, faculty, and staff were invited to email videos or perform live.

Thursday, 5/7

Dress: Red or Blue
Friday, 5/8
Event: Virtual MS Dance – Students submitted song requests in the days leading up to this event and joined a Zoom teleconference for an evening dance party.
