MFS Community Celebrates Pi Day

The Math Department celebrated Pi Day in Hartman Hall on March 14. Each year, faculty and students look forward to eating homemade and store-bought pies decorated with the mathematical symbol. This year, the Hall was filled with dozens of pies in all varieties and flavors.

In addition to delicious treats, teachers planned activities and lessons to extend the celebration throughout the course of the day. Seniors also showcased their mathematical humor with homemade pun-filled t-shirts.
