Five middle school students traveled to Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ to participate in the MATHCOUNTS Ocean/Burlington Chapter competition on February 3. Yusuf Ansari ’22, Max Forstein ’23, Sreehita Hajeebu ’23, and Andrew Mercantini ’23, and Naiya Patel ’23 competed for MFS. Sreehita placed fifth in the individual MATHCOUNTS competition.
The middle schoolers are coached by Upper School students Dylan Zhou ’19 and Hannah Jin ’20. The MathCounts activity is advised by MS Math Teacher Kathi Bernard.
