Mankaran Bhasin ’15, now a student at Virginia Tech, earned the highest score for his AP 3D artwork from last year, and his portfolio has been published on the College Board Advanced Placement website as a sample. Mankaran’s work was chosen from over 4,500 3D portfolios, and he earned 6/6 for his breadth section.
From the College Board evaluators’, Mankaran’s work was praised as it demonstrated:
- Excellent application of 3-D design principles to a broad range of design problems
- Original vision and a variety of innovative ideas
- A broad range of intentions and approaches
- Confidence
- Technical excellence
- High level of accomplishment
This is the second year in a row that a Moorestown Friends School student’s portfolio has been featured within the small number of samples on the College Board AP website.
