Kindergarten Classes Enjoy Visits from Restauranteurs
Jenny Ragghianti and Samantha Serrano’s kindergarten classes experienced a “restaurant week” as parents who own restaurants visited to teach them about their business and the food they serve.
Peter and Alana Savva, owners of Kettle and Grille in Marlton, joined the classes on March 22 to explain the types of jobs within their restaurant. Following the presentation, each student filled out a job application for the position of their choosing. The Savvas then treated the students to grilled cheese, fruit, and juice boxes.
On March 23, George Konstantinidis, who owns Zesto Pizza & Grille, joined the classes to explain the process of pizza-making and all that is involved in owning a restaurant. He then gave each student pizza dough to play with, sauce and cheese to take home with the dough, and slices of Zesto cheese pizza which some students were overheard saying “it’s the best pizza ever!”
