Katherine Lee ’25 Accepted Into All-South Jersey Junior High School Band

Clarinetist Katherine Lee ’25 passed her audition and was accepted into the highly competitive All-South Jersey Junior High School Band on January 25. MS/US Music Teacher and Arts Department Chair Brian Howard attended the audition as a representative of MFS and assisted in the adjudication process. 

Katherine plays in Mr. Howard’s Middle School Contemporary Ensemble, and she is currently in rehearsals with the All-South Jersey Band. Katherine will perform with the band at Fernwood Middle School (4034 Fernwood Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234) on March 1 at 3 p.m. The organization sponsoring the All-South Jersey Band, dating from the 1940s, is SJBODA (South Jersey Band and Orchestra Directors Association).
