BACK TO BACK! Girls’ Tennis Wins Second Consecutive NJSIAA Non-Public B State Title
The MFS Girls’ Tennis team defended their NJSIAA Non-Public B state championship tday with a 5-0 victory over Newark Academy at Mercer County Park. It is the second Girls’ Tennis state title in school history.
The team, coached by Mike Bodary, is ranked No. 1 for all groups by NJ.com with a record of 19-0. They have received the top seed in the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions, a six-team tournament that includes all group state champions (four public and two non-public). They will face the winner of #4 seed Tenafly and #5 seed Lawrence on Tuesday at Garden State Tennis Center in Edison. View bracket.
