Girls’ Tennis Wins Tenth NJSIAA Sectional Crown in Program History
The Moorestown Friends School Girls’ Tennis team captured the NJSIAA Non-Public B South championship on October 12 with a 4-1 win over Ranney School (view bracket). The sectional championship is the tenth in program history. The Foxes, coached by Mike Bodary, will now travel to Mercer County Park in West Windsor tomorrow to face Non-Public B North champion Newark Academy for the Non-Public B state championship match tomorrow at 1 p.m. MFS captured their first two Girls’ Tennis state championships in 2018 and 2019 (the tournament was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic).
