Three former Foxes have received postseason collegiate athletic honors while also seeing their teams advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Ithaca College defender Bella McCollister ’21 has repeated as the Liberty League Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Year and was also named to the First Team All-Conference squad. Bella has played every minute for the Bombers for the third straight year. This season, she anchored a defensive unit that held opponents to less than a goal per game (.80). They were even stingier against league opponents, holding them to a league-low five goals (.71 per game) for the second straight year. The Bombers were the conference’s regular season champions for the third time and posted a pair of 2-0 shutouts en route to the program’s first Liberty League title. Ithaca fell to Wesleyan yesterday, 2-0, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Vassar College Women’s Soccer forward Madison Bouggess ’21 earned All-Conference honors for the first time in her career and ranks tied for second on the team in goals with six and third in points with 12. Bouggess has three multiple goal games on the season, including tallying both goals in a 2-1 win over than #8 Ithaca on October 26. Bouggess currently ranks in a tie for eighth in the conference in total goals. The Brewers will face St. Mary’s College of Maryland in a first round NCAA Tournament match on Saturday at Christopher Newport University.

Muhlenberg College defender Evan Schlotterbeck ’21 made the All-Centennial Conference  team for the first time as a senior, tabbed as a Second Team selection. A team co-captain, he started at center back for a defense that has allowed more than one goal only once in the last 12 games. Schlotterbeck also was the Mules’ leading scorer in conference games with 7 points on 2 goals and 3 assists. He has led the team in minutes played for the second consecutive season. The Mules face Stevens Institute of Technology in a first round NCAA Tournament game on Saturday at Amherst College.
