Eighth Grade Spanish Students Visit Taller Puertorriqueño, “The Cultural Heart of Latino Philadelphia.”

On December 15, eighth grade Spanish students visited Taller Puertorriqueño, the “Cultural Heart of Latino Philadelphia.” Taller is both an art gallery and a cultural center. Students viewed exhibitions of local artists and took a walking tour of the neighborhood to look at murals. They also participated in workshops on Salsa Dancing and Jewelry Making. The trip concluded with a stop at Luna y Sol on Main Street in Moorestown for churros y chocolate!
