Celebration of Life for Former Headmaster Alan R. Craig – May 14, 2 p.m.

A celebration of the life of former Headmaster Alan R. Craig will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 2 p.m. at the Moorestown Friends Meeting House, 16 E. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. A reception will follow in the Dining Hall Commons at Moorestown Friends School. The arrangements have been made by Alan’s wife Mary and their sons Ian and David.

In accordance with the COVID safety protocols for Moorestown Monthly Meeting, guests will be socially distanced in the Meeting House, and per the Craig family, guests will be strongly encouraged to wear face masks while attending Meeting for Worship.

Alan Craig, Headmaster at MFS from 1990-2001, passed away on March 15, 2021. Here is a link to the notice that was shared with the school community at that time.

Mary, David and Ian Craig have directed that gifts in Alan’s memory be made to the Alan R. Craig Endowed Scholarship at MFS. The endowment provides an annual scholarship for a student who excels in the arts and has need of financial assistance to attend MFS. The first scholarship was awarded in 2021-22.
